Summer is finally here, and our annual show, Birmingham Bug Blast, is
 just around the corner, so shine up the cars, and get ready to have some fun.
      While we are having fun looking at the cars, and finding parts we may
 need, we also need volunteers to help out with the show to make it run smoothly.
 Several members have already offered to help, but we have many members
 that have not yet. One thing, if you offer to volunteer, you don’t
 have to do it the whole day, maybe an hour or two, to relieve another
 to take a stroll around and check everything out too. We all want to
 look around, but we all need to pitch in to help each other. Remember, volunteerism pays off.
      The Bug-In In July was a pretty good show, we had several members and
 cars attend. We met at Gardendale Wal-Mart and Cruised up to Decatur
 together as a club.
      Our monthly Cruise-ins at McAlisters Deli have not been all that
 successful this year, is it the location? If so, we need to think of a
 new location for next year. If anyone has any ideas, please bring it
 up at a meeting or give us a call and let us know. But for now, we
 will finish this year out there, since we only have July left, and
 September. In August, we won’t be able to because of the show, and in
 October, we usually have our Trunk-or-treat at Letson Farms shopping
 center in McCalla the weekend before Halloween, but more to come on that in the next newsletter.

 have attended, upcoming events, June Bug pictures, and other stuff there.
      Remember, we only have 1 meeting left before Bug Blast, and we need
 to have as many attend as we can to make final arrangements for the
 show. The next meeting will be August 9, 2007 at 7pm at Richards BBQ,
 so please make plans to attend.
